The tiny module measures just 44 x 22mm, and runs off 3.3V and TTL serial to send data back and forth between the mainboard and fingerprint sensor. The auto-learning feature improves the fingerprint recognition the more you use it as well, which reduces the chance of having to swipe your finger again to gain access. To help you get up and running quickly you can download the Arduino library we have written at: https://github.com/Jaycar-Electronics/Fingerprint-Sensor
: As the module uses Serial data, it might be best to use a board that has multiple serial ports, such as the Leonardo or MEGA. Most boards like the UNO use the Serial to talk to the computer, and cannot talk to both at the same time.
