This Bugs Series 12 EIS quadcopter drone is a thrill to fly and boasts many amazing features usually only found in top-end drones. The built-in 4K HD camera captures captivating photos and videos thanks to its wide 130° field of view (FOV), digital zoom, and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS). Watch and record in real-time on your Smartphone or save in full high definition to an onboard microSD card (not included). The camera’s gimbal can also have its pitch adjusted up to 90° while in flight via the remote control to get the best view. The Follow Me mode enables the drone to lock on to your mobile phone and track you automatically, recording whatever activity you are enjoying at the time.
An optical flow sensor and barometer get real-time data of the environment, which helps provide a stable flight when the GPS signal is weak or unavailable, such as flying indoors. The Point of Interest feature allows the drone to automatically orbit a pre-set GPS position while keeping its camera facing that position, and the Waypoint Flight Mode enables you to pre-set a flight path by simply tapping the desired waypoints on the screen. Other features include headless mode, one-key return, one-key take-off, orbital flight modes, and 5G Wi-Fi communication for the camera to Smartphone for a clearer first person view (FPV). The user-friendly ultra-long-range remote features an LCD screen that displays important flight in-formation such as distance and height, and a fold-out universal bracket supports most Smartphone sizes.
You can also switch the left and right controls if you prefer to operate the direction or speed of the drone with the other hand, and a built-in buzzer alerts you when there is a weak signal or the battery is going flat, so your flight is always safe. Powerful brushless motors provide speeds up to 40km/h and stable flight, even in windy conditions. When not in use, the drone folds down to just 174 long by 105mm wide so it doesn’t take up too much space in your bag. The Remote requires 2 x AA batteries (not included). Recommended for ages 14+.Â
